Globaloria Game Planning Wednesday

I am very excited about the planning of my game, I think that I need to spend more time making it exciting and fun but is a work in progress.  I am sure I will be writing all different kind of ideas tonight.  I can not wait to start designing, I think it will be fun to take my visions for my game and create them in front of my own eyes.  I hope everyone is as excited as I am for the upcoming projects.

Globaloria Day 4

After getting myself caught up yesterday, I have had a great day in class.  We have learned how to expand all of our text options and different effects we can apply to each text block.  I am looking forward to designing our new game with all of these new techniques we are learning.  I am designing my game to target the audience of children ages 5 through 16 in order to help with the teaching of mathematics.  My game will take place on a race track asking students math questions, in order to go fast and win the race to make it to the next level children will have to answer questions correctly.  If they answer questions wrong then the car will slow down and may even wreck.  I believe this game would keep more children interested in learning math while having fun.  This is so much better than a quiz because it brings learning and fun together.

Globaloria Day 3 for me....

I had a frustrating day at school today trying to get myself caught up from my toothache days I missed.  I was able to get caught up thanks to Mrs. Jackson and someother fellow classmates.  I found the wolf to be the most aggrevating thing along with the uploading and downloading of each step.  I am hoping this gets easier as we go and am definently not going to miss another day of class.  See you tomorrow have a great evening.

Globaloria days 3 and 4

Ouch!!! I had to go to the dentist on wed and get a tooth chizzled out of my gum, it was not only painful, it was also scary.  I missed  class for 2 days and hope I can get myself caught up.  Thursday I spent with a swollen jaw, I looked as though I had been smacked with a lead pipe.  I am here now feeling better got some Ibuprofen it took the swelling down may need a little help from everyboday, but I am sure you all will be there to lend a hand.  Well, I am off to play some games now good luck to everybody.

Second Day Back to College

Well it is the second day back to school and having a great time.  My class now can be frustrating, but is great and fun to learn.  Anyone else having a hard time with classes this summer.

Internet Safety

It is important to protect ourselves from on-line thieves and predators.  For instance, to avoid such issues as fraud you could try using pre-paid cards instead of your actual checking account.  Never give at account information or your social security number on-line.  In being safe, we are protecting our lively-hood, so that we will never be taken advantage of by thieves.

First Day of Globaloria

I expect to learn a lot from this class involving making video games, as well as, playing other people's games.  I am also excited in learning all of these program hands-on.  I can not wait to see the things I can create and working with a partner to make killer designs as well.
